We visited this place a few times in the past. Was sadden to hear they had closed the doors, and soooo happy to hear they were reopening after 4 years of being closed. Had a grand reopening today June 7, 2019 with a guided tour and free pontoon boat rides, which was very nice and relaxing on a beautiful sunny day. Definitely will be going back and highly recommend, as we did in the past, checking this place out!! Nice Job Four Seasons Island Resort 👍

Went there to celebrate my grandparents 68th anniversary. Was looking really forward to going back after not having been there for 15+ years. What a disappointment. My grandfather's meal was cold, twice. I had hair in my food, twice. The service was also horrible. 1 waitress for 2 dining rooms. She was unorganized, slow, and didn't check on us, especially after the 1st complaint. No one in my family will be returning.

Most unique step back in time experience, dining, ambience and atmosphere. Very lovely. I ordered the Black and Bleu salad, everyone else at our table main dinner plates, lots of food. My salad with steak was more than enough, very good.

It was nice. We just had a drink downstairs in the Boundary Waters. The lunch menu looked good. We will try that next. It is a beautiful place!

Great historic hotel! I stayed in early May (off-season) which may just be the best time. It was so quiet with few guests which meant the large pool/sauna area was empty and the rooms were very quiet. The onsite restaurant was quite good - when you're in rural isolated areas sometimes you worry about the quality of the food, but everything was very good and fresh tasting! I would definitely come back, it's the perfect spot in Marinette County for a waterfall tour.
